In last season's finale, blood began trickling out of the Lord Commander, made even more dramatic against the white snow.  HBO Keen-eyed fans began chattering about clues the blood pattern may hold . Is it a direwolf, the Stark sigil?  Poor #JonSnow , pretty much everybodies no1. Maybe he'll be back? NOTICE the wolf in his blood? http://t.co/ivh0sMPURr pic.twitter.com/HaNxS4sZ79 — Francis Flisiuk (@FrancisFlisiuk) June 24, 2015 Or is it a dragon?  Anyone else think Jon Snow's blood stains kinda looked like dragon wings? #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/GIxOS4Q1JV — Justin Taylor (@TheSmarmyBum) April 25, 2016 All those pattern possibilities tie into existing theories. One theory is that Snow returns through his direwolf, Ghost . (As Huffington Post Entertainment editor Bill Bradley pointed out, a quote from the three-eyed crow in George R.R. Martin's book A Dance With Dragons explains that once a skinchanger's human body dies, a part of them remains in their animal.) Another popular theory is R+L=J . The theory, which relates to the bastard Snow's true lineage, claims that Snow is actually the biological son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark. This would explain the dragon, which is also the House Targaryen's sigil.  Always keeping us on our toes, "Game of Thrones."  “Game of Thrones” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
